Why am I here?

If you had asked me as a Freshman, Sophomore, Junior, or even Senior if I wanted to teach middle school chorus, I would have said ummm, no.

Hi, I'm Millie!

I've been teaching choir for 12 years in the upstate area of SC. I believe that ANYONE can sing, and that we should never underestimate what developmental choirs can do.

I created this blog as part of my master's thesis. It is intended to be a link of communication to my students and parents, a resource for other choral music educators, and a gathering of ideas to stimulate thoughts and discussion on best practices in music education.
